For the latter part of April the streets of Montreal and Ottawa looked like the inside of a passenger airliner. On behalf of Porter Airlines, TrojanOne sent Brand Ambassadors to both Ottawa and Montreal, in a guerilla marketing campaign to promote Porter’s service to both cities from the Toronto City Centre Airport.
TrojanOne Senior Field Operations Coordinator Hamish Matthew comments, “We did a similar program in Toronto for Porter last November that was terrifically successful, so it made perfect sense for Porter to do the same thing in Ottawa and Montreal.”

Fully uniformed as flight attendants, the TrojanOne street teams attracted the right attention and engaged interested consumers with innovative discount coupons on select flights, exclusive to the promotion. Brand Ambassadors were all local talent from each of the cities, ensuring familiarity with the markets.

Each team of five Brand Ambassadors took on the challenge of building strategies designed to target consumers in key locations in both cities and the effort was wildly successful. Coupon distribution targets in both markets were fully reached, and early returns indicate extremely high redemption rates on the coupon offer.
